Can you see the Milky Way at night with the naked eye? You can see it but you need a couple of things to see it clearly. I found more info below for you

the Milky Way is one of the most interesting eye sights in the night sky. However, it's not bright, and it's not always well placed to be seen. So to see the Milky Way you will have to meet the following requirements:
1. Dark skies - no moonlight, no city lights, no headlights, no streetlights
2. At least one eyeball - no telescopes, no binoculars, (just eyeglasses if you're near sighted)
3. A little bit of timing - late summer or winter evenings are good.
You my have seen it on Saturday as it was a clear night Hope you feel better soon
