Weekend Riddle


A 10 metre ladder is attached to a ship.
Each step is 50 cm apart.
If the water is rising at 75 cm per hour, how long will it take to cover the ladder?

It would take 9hours 20 mins to cover the ladder, but the important fact is that the ladder is attached to a boat and boats float. The answer is the water will never cover the ladder.
