Our Heads
We've just about finished our papier mache heads. We will put the finishing touches to them tomorrow. It's been a long process - what has stuck in your head as you've been making them?
Maybe it's been the moulding, adding the different facial parts, painting or adding hair.
Share your experiences as a comment and see if you can get a conversation going that only you bloggers will know about.

Gertie the Gloomy Goose
Gertie the Gloomy Goose
One afternoon Hugh was watching a cartoon called Gertie the Gloomy Goose. Gertie flew smoothly through Blackpool on a broom when she toppled over fell and bruised her knee. In rage she took off her shoe and threw it at a musician who was playing a flute. He stood up, shook his fist at Gertie, smoothed down his suit and continued playing. It would take more than a bruise caused by a goose on a broom to stop a true flute player.

My Neighbour Mr Reindeer
My neighbour has a silly surname. He is called Mr Rudolph Reindeer. Mr Reindeer has no patience and often complains about the silliest things – mum’s apron isn’t straight, there aren’t enough raisins in his birthday cake, the trailer’s wheels are on the pavement, the cafĂ© doesn’t open late. When he gets angry he makes such strange faces and his veins pop out on his forehead.
Yesterday was Monday, the first day of the school holidays. It rained so hard that Mr Reindeer’s children could not go out to play. The children waited to see if the rain would stop and were dismayed to find they had to remain indoors. As they played they created mayhem. Mr Reindeer can’t wait until the holidays are over and peace reigns once again.
