Subjects and Verbs

Today we were learning how to identify the subject and verb in a sentence. The subject of a sentence is the person, place or thing that the sentence is about and the verb is the 'doing' word.

Can you identify the subject and verb in these sentences?

5. Something to read = chapter
6. A famous person = actor
7. A seaside activity = surfing
8. Something worn by a knight = armour
9. A seaside place = harbour
10. Part of a ship = stern
